For first-time users, setting up your account on BitRaser Drive Eraser for Chromebook involves creating your login credentials, including your email address and password. This section offers an overview of the steps involved in this process.
When purchasing licenses for the application, you need to provide an email ID. This email ID can be either new or already existing, but it must be created by the user.
After a successful purchase, the licenses are allocated to the provided email ID. Additionally, a confirmation email is sent to this email address.
In the confirmation email, you will find a temporary password for your account. This password is provided for initial access to the application.
Note: These credentials will also be used to log in to the BitRaser Cloud console.
Enter the provided email ID as the Username, to log into the application.
Use the password from the confirmation email as the account password when logging in.
The password provided in the email can be changed later by the user.
Log in to the BitRaser Cloud using the same credentials you used to log in to the application.
Once logged in, navigate to the dashboard and click on your profile located in the top right corner. This will open a dropdown menu.
From the dropdown menu, select "Change Password." This action will prompt a window to appear on the screen.
Enter your old and new password in the provided field.
Retype your new password in the confirmation field to ensure accuracy,
Note: Ensure your password meets the criteria for strength. Refer to the guidelines outlined in the image below:
After entering your passwords, click . This will initiate the process of updating your password.
Once submitted, your password will be successfully updated and you will be redirected to the login screen. Use the new password to Log in to BitRaser Drive Eraser for Chromebookand BitRaser Cloud.
